Eric, 24, is the only child born to single-mother Beth Nzioka who died while his only son was a fouth-year student.
Upon graduation last year, Nzioka, started hawking newspapers at Olenguruone, a small town in Nakuru County to hotels and shops when his search for a job bore no fruits.

In a space of months, he says he has saved good money in his bank account and plans to start up a business.
"    As an orphan, I had the option of wallowing in self-pity and take charge of my life and became a solution to my needs" he told press.

He says it was his childhood dream to be distinguished entrepreneur and so perceives his challenges as tools to prepare him for huge responsibilities.

Knowing life's bite he normally use a portion of meager earning helping other orphans, sick and the disables in the region.
" I am encouraged by my challenges every day my mother had trained me to work hard and avoid depending on people's handouts for a living: he said.

Her late mother left her Machakos home at tender age and came to do hotel jobs in Nairobi before proceeding to Olenguruone where she started her Mutumba business which sponsored Nzioka through all levels of education.

“I am not complaining because i see every day i live brings me joy and i am convinced that my life is brighter” he says.

He says, his friends at Kuresoi South Constituency in Nakuru have been like his brothers and that is why he manages to survive out of their home in Machakos County.

He distributes newspapers to shops and hotels in the morning and collects money in the evening but says he uses his afternoon hours looking for business ideas and opportunities.

The alumni of Moi Amalo Secondary school is however optimistic of dominating the business market in the country with the late American Tycoon Steve Jobs being his role model.

“My role model is Steve Jobs; his life has been keeping me encouragement and I am determined of owning several businesses in the country” he says.

The lover of inspirational books says he is inspired by Mubarak Muyika a Kenyan orphan from Western Kenya who has also changed his fortune.

"The life of Mubarak Muyika has been inspiring me, should I meet him,  I have all it takes to partner with him in business" he said
