CHAGLANO’S NAME DOMINATES TALKS IN KERICHO

CHAGLANO'S TROUBLES MINDS OF KERICHO LOCALS

Many did not know Chaglano before the inception of Football tournament and other charitable projects he has established in Bureti.

Some thought that he was an Asian or from Western Kenya but now have known that he is a humble resident of Tebesonik in Bureti Sub County with a big heart.
His triumphant emergence is upsetting not only locals but leaders who allege to have never seen such a leader in the history of Bureti.

Bureti has mothered numerous leaders (their names withheld) but they have never depicted traces of having the needs of locals equally to his.

To Mathew Too, a resident of Kapkatet, chaglano is a leader by nature whose heart thinks of the destitute and he is therefore worth emulation by leaders from all walks of life in the region.

“ Chaglano, has stormed the region by his potent entry to the hearts of both the young and the old in Bureti” he said.

A local from Bureti attested that not even the serving Governor has managed to gather big crowd equal to that was witnessed on Friday at Tebesonik During the Chaglano Cup.

Majority of the locals have reiterated his sentiments that all hopefuls for political seats come 2017 should be taken to task to list projects they have done to the people to prove their leadership capability.

During the Finals of Chaglano tournament, the sponsor, said, he was ready to continue the initiative that aims at raising talents after every three months across Bureti Constituency not for any political gain but to help the locals.

His name is spreadin like bush fire across the Kalenjin land because the final event was covered live by Kong'asis and Kitwek FM.

Charles Langat says, poverty level in Bureti is alarming and it should be uprooted by empowering the locals to start businesses and the young be thought how to look for money using the readily available resources and God-given talents.

Chaglano hails from a humble family, has voluntarily used profit from his construction Company to build schools, churches, roads, in fundraisings and Football tournament that cost more than seven million shillings.

His initiatives has attracted attention of Kericho Governor who lauded the initiative and pledged to support it.

He says after his business was blessed, the former Mitumba hawker is decided to reduce societal vices and help youths learn how to look for money.
Another leader who was touched is NSSF Managing Trustee Richard Langat who has said he will stand by him onward.

“ This is a noble job that I have never seen before in our region, going forward, I will stand to support Chaglano to see his idea succeed to transform the locals” he said.
